But that's not all - we also offer amazing performance opportunities for our team members. Our performance teams train regularly and showcase their talents at local events. It's your chance to shine on stage and captivate audiences with your incredible dance skills.

Founder & Business Manager
Emily has been dancing for 25 years, and is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, modern theatre and irish. She taught at Neptune Girls for a year and ran her own performance team before setting up KDC in 2022.
Emily has taught and coached children and young people over the past 10 years in dance schools and other educational settings. She is also a dance practitioner for Portsmouth City of Sanctuary.

Founder & Performance Manager
Josie has been dancing her whole life, training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and contemporary. She has taught and volunteered at various dance schools and is now the performance manager for KDC.
Josie started dancing with Neptune Girls in 2016, and was a cover teacher for a year before starting to teach regular classes and run her own performance team in March 2022.

Teacher
With 30 years dance experience, Clare is trained in tap, modern, ballet, commercial and street. More recently she has started attending classes in Latin and ballroom and also took part in a Vogue class taught by a dancer who performed at the Superbowl with Madonna!
Clare danced with Neptune Girls for about 5 years and was a teacher for 2.5 years before she started teaching for KDC.

Lucy trained at Performers College under the direction of Brian Rogers. She has led a very successful dance career over the past 25 years which has taken her all over the world. Her professional credits include Lead Spirit (Ballet), Lead Spirit (Irish) and Dance Captain for one of the largest production companies in the world - Spirit of the Dance. She has performed at many shows in Las Vegas and across the USA, China, Mexico, the list goes on!
Lucy's choreographic credits include:
Dancing With The Stars (TV Shanghai, China), Butlins audition choreographer, Martel Chivas (China), High School Musical for Kings Theatre, plus many pantomimes, shows and competition choreography.
Lucy is also a member of the ISTD and can still be seen demonstrating their Tap Syllabus. She is currently teaching a range of dance styles and providing technique training in Portsmouth.

Kirsti has been dancing since she was 5, primarily training in commercial, but also some rock and roll, tap, contemporary and modern. She danced at Neptune Girls for 3 years and was an assistant Beginners teacher for a year.

Elizabeth started dance training at the age of 13 and has trained in many styles since. She has competed in dance festivals and performed in numerous shows including local showcases and pantomimes and festivals such as Victorious. In 2018, Elizabeth was chosen as the judges wildcard act in the ‘Britain does Variety’ competition and she competed in the grand finals.
Elizabeth has been teaching dance since 2018, when she also qualified as an Acrobatic Arts teacher. Acro has now become her specialty and she has choreographed many competitive routines. Elizabeth has helped lots of pupils to achieve high level Acro and tumbling skills by providing bespoke training focused on each individual student.

Olivia’s love for dancing and performing started from a young age. She originally trained in modern, contemporary, jazz, tap and street dance before discovering commercial heels - This unlocked her love for movement without rules!
She has been creating, performing and teaching since 2017 firstly for “Neptune Girls” and later starting her own creative company “The Baddest”. Oliva has trained in both London and LA and believes that dancing is one of the most powerful art forms.

Shanice is a professional dancer based in Portsmouth, currently teaching classes and workshops across the south of the UK.
Having danced since she was 4 years old, Shanice has developed her skills in numerous styles and trained in Dance and Musical Theatre at Performers College for 4 years. Her professional dance credits include dancing for Dua Lipa at the Brit Awards and as part of the UEFA EUROS closing ceremony.
